UNP blames govt. of undemocratic behaviour

The UNP is opposed to the appointment of a ‘Panel of Experts’ by UN Secretary General but blamed the government for acting in an undemocratic manner which has resulted in such a move.

“The government, instead of blaming others for the UN action should look at its own actions that has led to this situation”, UNP MP Dayasiri Jayasekare said. 

He said that it has been more than a month since the disappearance of Journalist Prageeth Ekneligoda.
